TERMINAL CONVENTION
Ok – imagine an international art exhibition, art fair, symposium & music festival in a decommissioned airport terminal. In Cork. On St Patrick’s day 2011.
This is going to be intriguing. Smiling Wolf are undertaking the branding and communications – so I’ve just spent an amazing weekend in Cork, at the Terminal (spooky) meeting the team behind the event. I took plenty of documentary photos that’ll be hosted somewhere soon-ish. And will post links to information when it becomes available.
JOHN MOORES PAINTING PRIZE
Some sneaky pictures from last night’s launch, it’s always a pleasure to visit the Walker Art Gallery – especially if there’s a glass of bubbly involved…
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
An interesting meeting today – planning the catalogue for Alternative Routes; an international network committed to exploring experimental screen-based work. The partners are from Hungary, Portugal, UK and Iceland – so exploring the options for font and language support at the moment. Kings Caslon is currently looking like the strongest contender for body copy.
